Hey, luxe fam! I’ve been on the longest hiatus from this blog because if I’m being honest, in the last couple of months I’ve been feeling really uninspired. I’ve was struggling with a huge creative block that made it difficult to write and create content. With a 9-5 job and trying to build a blogging career after hours, I had way too many things on my plate. For that reason, I chose to mostly focus my attention to Instagram and concentrate on growing and engaging through one platform. By the way, we’re almost at 10K followers! Thank you to everyone whose been rocking with me so far. So what brings me back to the blog, you ask? After searching high and low, I finally found some inspiration that I’d love to share with you. Here are my 5 tips to find and stay inspired:Create a mood board on Pinterest
Despite me being fashion blogger, I often fall into the hole of “I have nothing to wear.” That’s why I loooooove Pinterest because you can literally scroll through the website or app for hours. Creating mood boards are so simple as well. I have a bunch dedicated to minimal fashion, street fashion, denim, hair styles, travel, food, etc. Whenever I find myself falling into a hole, I often scroll through my boards and I have some sort of inspiration to draw from. Follow me on Pinterest to find inspo as well!Read daily affirmations
You’d be surprised what the power of words can hold over you. I often find that reading affirmations that encourage and remind you of your self worth are the best way to feel motivated, especially when you’re in need of a quick daily pick-me-up. It’s all about positivity and peace of mind. Follow my Pinterest board for some “feel good” vibes here. Pick up a new hobby
Whether it be going to the gym, learning a new sport, or planting a garden, hobbies allow you to relax and focus on other things besides work and daily stress. A new hobby that I’ve just picked up is cooking. In no way do I consider myself a professional chef, but since I’ve started looking up recipes and cooking on a more consistent basis, I’ve definitely gained a lot of practice and learned so many techniques. Even after an eight hour work day, it’s a daily challenge that I don’t mind engaging in. I find it therapeutic and satisfying to know that people really enjoy my food and I enjoy cooking for them.
Embrace the feeling of gratitude
Wherever there is gratitude there is a spark of life, and wherever there is a spark of life there is inspiration. The overall feeling of gratefulness is inspiring because the more grateful you feel, the more motivated and inclined you are to keep that same feeling around. So thank your parents for bringing you up. Thank your friends for having your back. Hell, thank your waiter for serving you a delicious meal (you can also thank in tips, of course!). In turn, gratitude and abundance makes you feel committed to whatever you do when you treasure what you have.

Surround yourself with an inspiring circle of individuals
I like to think that you are the people you surround yourself with. If you’re feeling uninspired and unfulfilled, take a good look at your circle of friends. Are they supporting you in any type of way? Are they encouraging you to be good or do better? I am super fortunate that my small group of friends are all people who I draw inspiration from on a daily basis, challenge me to be more than myself, and even aspire to be like someday. Do yourself a favor and imagine you and your circle in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years. If things don’t look too good, then you probably need a new wave of inspiring friends.
I’d love to hear what keeps you inspired in the comments down below. Until next time, loves.
