Hey my lovelies! So sorry for the lack of posts lately. I’ve been super busy with this thing they call life, but I’m totally done with being distracted and ready to get back on this blog grind. Trust me, when you’re deep into the the world of blogging, a week-long-hiatus feels like an entire decade. With that said, I hope to get back onto my regular weekly schedule. I always find myself riding on the summer festival style bandwagon, but to make it a little more “me”, I love to play with tough and edgier elements to spice things up. This lace kimono was literally love at first site. I’m all about rocking lace in the summer because of it’s delicateness, and I knew that having this particular piece in black would definitely incorporate that darker element I always find myself gravitating to. For this festival style look, I didn’t want to take away from the gorgeous details of the kimono so I decided to go with an all-white canvas underneath. I wore a lace top underneath as well to add a little hint of monochromatic texture play. Though not typically a fan of leopard, the kimono features a leopard gold trim that luckily isn’t too “loud” in print and ties in perfectly with mixed-metal jewelry pieces. The kimono is absolutely perfect that I can easily see myself rocking it throughout the entire summer.
