Aylmer and I had the pleasure of wining and dining at Waystone, the new wine and beer cafe located in San Francisco.
We met the owner, Tom, and he had us try a wide array of beers for Aylmer and red wines for myself. Upon arrival, we noticed that the walls were pretty much poppin’ bottles – for a second, I thought I was in heaven! We started off with the Ploughman’s Lunch which is a charcuterie plate that had a selection of sausages, cheeses, vegetables, and nuts to top everything off. We also had the best pastrami sandwich in all of San Francisco! Super tender and Aylmer couldn’t stop raving about it. Not pictured (because we inhaled it all, whoops), the pot du creme and the sweetest dessert wine ever. I’m a huge fan of chocolate and sea salt, and seriously, this dessert was out of this world! Located right next to the Warfield theater, if you guys are ever in San Francisco, please give Waystone a visit. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
