Day 3 of my trip to NY consisted of catching up/meeting new friends and getting a little more acquainted with the city. Driving is a b*tch there, so there was definitely tons of walking involved, but all well worth it with our trip to Soho, eating delicious food at the most adorable restaurants, and of course no NY trip is complete without a respectable visit Times Square. As an added bonus, not only was I lucky enough to attend one of the fashion shows that night, I was also able to go backstage before the show and kinda get a glimpse of all the behind-the-scenes action (I will be posting pictures from the show sometime this week.) As for my outfit, I knew I’d be doing A LOT of walking, so I decided wearing my black jumpsuit would be the best option. I love jumpsuits because its a no-fuss type of outfit that doesn’t require much thought at all. I really dig the v-cut and draping in the front so I decided against jewelry to keep the outfit really minimal and allow the suit to speak for itself. It got a bit chilly towards the end of the night so I ended up using my fella’s bandana scarf and chucked over my shoulders as a shawl instead. I love the juxtaposition I get from this suit and scarf put together. It’s almost like badass gangsta meets sophistication, and I really enjoy how two opposites attract.
