The big 2-4. Crap, I’m old, but funny thing about age is that one year along the way makes you a little bit wiser with age. My need to “turn up” every single weekend has definitely declined, but I don’t see any shame in that. In fact, I’ve been really trying to take a step back and figure things out for myself. I no longer need the distractions. I now see the end of the finish line up ahead, however I know I have miles on miles ahead of me before I reach that goal. However, at the end of the day, I know that’s OK. Once each hurdle has been conquered, miles feel like inches, hours feel seconds. I now know that the path I am currently on is the right one. One thing I will say that I’ve learned from my experiences thus far is this: create your own path, because no one can make those choices in life for you. This is probably the realest and truest advice I can give and continue to follow myself. I have the creation of this blog to thank for that.Top Brandy Melville | Bralette Ebay | Skirt Nordstrom | Necklace c/o Forever 21
Fun fact: I was born on Thanksgiving, and today, my birthday falls on Thanksgiving yet again. I couldn’t be anymore pleased as both of my favorite holidays (my birthday included, lol) are now combined into one joyous occasion! Everything from the events I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of, to the people and friends I’ve met along the way, 2015 has treated me amazingly. I’m not going to list all the things that I’m thankful for this year because to be honest, there are way too many blessings to count. I will however, say this: I am thankful for all of you, and that is the honest truth. Thank you to everyone who has supported my vision. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: this blog is not just a piece of me, but a piece of all of you. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, and I hope everyone is just as thankful as I am in this very moment.
