Hey there, Luxe fam! Hoping everyone had an amazing Memorial Day Weekend. I spent mines moving into my new place in LA. The apartment’s still a bit bare (or unintentionally minimal, even) but I have no doubt that it’ll come together and feel like home in no time.
A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit a few of my favorite stores at the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, CA to get the low-down of all the new styles and trends for the Spring season.
All Saints is a brand that is unapologetically Rocker Chic. For Spring, we’re seeing tons of nudes and blushes. The leather jacket pictured above features an amazing fringe detail in the back that’s perfect to wear to your next Spring/Summer music festival. Statement sleeves are a favorite of mine, and these sleeves have a crochet detail that embodies the daintiness and freshness of the season. I don’t see embroidered and raw-hem denim going anywhere anytime soon as well. I love how these jeans draw your attention all the way towards the bottom of the leg and give off subtle statement to any outfit.
This season, Jenni Kayne wanted to embody the fabulousness of all that is “Glamping” – or glamorous camping if you will. Her collection is full of loose and airy silhouettes with layers that are easy to wear and light to pack on. My absolute favorite pieces out of the collection: the silk drawstring pant and toggle jacket. I love the pajama trend, and these drawstring pants are the perfect mix between pj’s and chic trousers. Paired with a heel or sandal, they easily elevate any outfit. The jacket is not only unique because of the toggle detailing, but it’s so lightweight and oversized making it great for layering year round. It’s pretty much the perfect outerwear per San Francisco standards.
Anthropologie Right when I walked into Anthropologie, first thing that came to mind was rich hues and tons of color, color, and color! Red has been slowing creeping into my list of favorite colors as of late, which is why I was easily attracted to this palm tree reminiscent kimono. The silk material is so luxurious. If worn over silk camisole and jeans, it would easily make the most basic outfit feel special as well. I have a love for woven straw bags, especially for the Spring season. Compared to my leather purses, wovens have a have beachy bohemian vibe that instantly make an outfit, no matter how dressed up, feel chill and laidback. Colorful tassle earrings are great for adding an instant pop. I love wearing them with either a black and white or monochromatic palette to add eye-catching details.
Comment down below what your favorites styles and trends are for Spring as well! I’d love to hear what you guys are loving so far this season.
